After winning hearts and earning the unwavering love of viewers, COLORS’ ‘Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki’ takes a one-year leap that propels the story into a gripping new chapter. Refusing to accept that Vikrant (Adnan Khan), the man she loves, is gone from her life, Mannat (Ayesha Singh) continues her relentless search for answers. Unaware of the truth, Vikrant is living in Punjab as Abhimanyu, with a completely new identity and lost memory. At the centre of this web is Samragyi Dhillon (Amrapali Sinha), a woman whose charm and influence conceal her larger ambitions, while her sister Manyata (Shikha Pandey) remains determined to keep Abhimanyu close at any cost. With Dhairya constantly trying to make Mannat believe that Vikrant is dead, and Mannat’s only support is no other than her daughter Dua. Will Mannat’s unwavering faith lead her to Vikrant before destiny takes him further away, or will he embrace his new identity as Abhimanyu and leave his life with Mannat behind forever?
Ayesha Singh, essaying the title role, says, ”I’m grateful to the audience for showering the show with so much love and support. Viewers have been deeply invested in Mannat and Vikrant’s journey, and while their much-awaited union finally culminated in marriage, but it also marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with challenges. Following the leap, Mannat continues to hold on to the belief that Vikrant is alive despite everyone assuming otherwise. Having spent a year raising Dua on her own and living with unanswered questions, she refuses to give up hope. Her strength lies in her unwavering faith, and the journey ahead will showcase her resilience as she chooses hope over despair every single day.”
Adnan Khan, essaying the role of Abhimanyu / Vikrant says, “This leap marks a fascinating new chapter for my character. After losing his memory, Vikrant is led to believe that he is Abhimanyu, a transport company owner living in Punjab. The transformation is striking—not just in his circumstances, but in who he appears to be. Vikrant was polished, reserved, and carried every responsibility with quiet determination. Abhimanyu, on the other hand, is carefree, warm-hearted, and lives fully in the moment. He laughs freely, dances without hesitation, and expresses himself through shayari with complete honesty. What makes this journey especially compelling is the sense that something within him feels incomplete. While he believes he is in love with Manyata, there’s an unexplained disconnect that he can’t quite understand. Deep down, he senses that there are missing pieces to his story. As glimpses of his past begin to resurface, he finds himself caught between the life he has accepted and a truth that continues to call out to him.”
Amrapali Sinha, portraying the character of Samragyi Dhillon, says, “I am absolutely thrilled to continue my long-standing association with COLORS, and I am so incredibly happy to be a part of this show that has garnered so much love from the audiences. Playing Samragyi is a fascinating experience because she represents power disguised as virtue. She understands society well enough to know that respectability is the best camouflage. Her charity, her traditions, her family values – all of it is performance. Beneath that lies a woman who has clawed her way up from nothing and refuses to lose control. It will be interesting for the audiences to watch this character navigate that fine line between protection and absolute psychological dominance. With Vikrant now living as Abhimanyu under her watch, she sees opportunity – but also threat. Samragyi doesn’t fear chaos; she creates it, treating viewers to twists.”
Shikha Pandey, playing the role of Manyata, says, “It’s a thrill to join the show at this exciting juncture. My character Manyata, loves Abhimanyu and it seems perfect on the surface. When love mutates into obsession, it ceases to be a sanctuary and becomes a cage, slowly suffocating the very person it claims to protect, and we will see that crushing effect heavily weigh down on Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu is the future she has built in her head. Any crack in that dream terrifies her, making her emotionally volatile. Manyata and Abhimanyu’s journey will be interesting for the audience to watch as it explores the fragile boundary between desperate love and denial.”
